Electric Cables
1. Power Cables (LV / MV / HV)
Description:
Power cables are the backbone of electrical systems, designed to transmit electricity from power sources to buildings, machinery, and infrastructure. They are built with copper or aluminum conductors, insulated with materials like PVC or XLPE, and protected with outer sheaths for durability.
Types:
Low Voltage (LV) Cables (≤1kV): Used in homes, offices, and commercial buildings for lighting and general power distribution.
Medium Voltage (MV) Cables (1kV–35kV): Used in industrial plants, substations, and large facilities.
High Voltage (HV) Cables (>35kV): Used for long-distance power transmission and utility networks.
