Specifications

Medium voltage power cables manufactured in compliance with IEC 60502-2, BS 6622, and BS 7835 standards.

All cables are flame-retardant and meet IEC 60332-1 (Vertical Flame Propagation Test).

Conductor

• High-conductivity, soft annealed copper or aluminum conductors

• Manufactured in accordance with BS EN 60228

• Class 2 stranded, round compacted conductors

Insulation

• Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) or Tree-Retardant XLPE (TR-XLPE)

• Maximum operating temperature: 90°C

Metallic Screen

• Copper wire screen (cross-section based on requirement or short-circuit rating)

• Copper tape screen

Armoring (Optional)

• Multi-core cables:

  • Galvanized Steel Wire Armored (SWA)

  • Galvanized Double Steel Tape Armored (STA)

• Single-core cables:

  • Aluminum Wire Armored (AWA)

  • Aluminum Tape Armored (ATA)

Outer Sheathing
